Canon MT-26EX Twin Light Macro Flash
![]() |
|
The individual flash heads on the MT-26EX Twin Light allow for a wide range of positioning to help elliminate/minimize specular highlights on the subject. This is particularly handy for anterior photos which will be used by a dental lab for shade matching. Posterior shots and mirror shots can be tricky with this flash as the flash heads are farther from the lens than a ring flash. Uses 4 "AA" batteries - rechargeable batteries are recommended. |

Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter
The Canon ST-E2 adds wireless flash control to Canon cameras that do not have a built-in wireless flash transmitter allowing them to work with the Metz MS-1, Canon EL-100, Canon 270EX II and Nissin i40 flashes. PLEASE NOTE: if you plan to use the Lumiquest Pocket Bouncers with the Canon 270EX II flashes, you will need the Canon ST-E2 transmitter - even if your camera has a built-in wireless flash transmitter. This is due to the location of the sensor on the 270EX II flash. The sensor needs "line of sight" to the camera in order to function. If you are using the flash with Pocket Bouncer, the flash is turned away from the camera and will not be triggered by the camera. The ST-E2 is a much stronger transmitter than the built-in models and can trigger/control the flash even when it is turned away from the camera. Please call us for more info if you have any questions. The Canon ST-E2 uses a 2CR5 battery (not included). |

Nissin i40 Wireless Macro System with R2-U Bracket for Canon or Nikon
![]() |
|
The Nissin i40 is the latest small, wireless flash that can be used on the R2 bracket. It is available in Canon and Nikon versions and can be used with cameras that
have wireless flash capability (either built-in or with external transmitters - see camera models listed in the Canon EL-100 or Nikon R1 sections).
The Nissin i40 costs a little bit more than the Canon EL-100 and Nikon SB-R200 flashes but the i40 beats them both in terms of power and flexibility: - the Nissin i40 is nearly twice as powerful as the Canon EL-100 and 4 times as powerful than the Nikon SB-R200. - the Nissin i40 uses 4 AA batteries vs. 2 AA in the Canon and a CR123 battery in the Nikon. Faster recycling and longer battery life. The PhotoMed R2-U Dual Point Flash Bracket allows the Nissin i40 flash heads to be positioned next to the lens for intraoral mirror shots and posterior views. You can also turn the flash heads out to the side for anterior esthetic views, smile shots and lab communication. The Nissin i40 System includes (2) Nissin i40 flashes and the PhotoMed R2-U flash bracket. Flash and Bracket packages are also available with the new versions of the R2 Bracket (Ballhead and Wide). The flashes and R2 bracket are also available individually. |

LumiQuest Pocket Bouncer and UltraStrap
![]() |
|
LumiQuest Pocket Bouncers are popular accessories for the dual point flash systems on R2 brackets. The Pocket Bouncer redirects light at a 90° angle from the flash to soften the quality of the light by enlarging the light roughly 6-8 times over the size of the flash head itself. |

Risers for R2 Bracket and Lumiquest Pocket Bouncers
The new R2 Risers are designed to raise the R2 bracket up so that when you set it down, the Pocket Bouncers do not
come in contact with the table surface. The Riser set includes a threaded riser that screws into the bracket tripod screw and two risers that attach to the hinge screws. The bottom photo shows a complete camera system with the Pocket Bouncers attached to the flashes and the Riser set in place. |
